Well we are at it again and ready for the exciting 2012 growing season ahead of us. The seed catalogs are covering the kitchen table and they have post it's and markings all over in them while we try to plan what we will be growing this year and how much is needed to provide everyone with an abundance of fresh and tasty fruits and vegetables all summer long.
We are now accepting members for the season, as always first come first serve basis.
The cost is staying the same as last year so for the 16-18 weeks you will get at least a 5/9 bushel box of produce delivered to a select drop site for $350.00.
If interested please e-mail us and we will send you the application and more information. Drop sites are still to be determined but if interested in hosting a drop site gather up at least 4 of your friends and we will be happy to deliver directly to you.
Any questions please let us know, e-mail us at Jolene3737@hotmail.com.

We are Growing!!! FINALLY !!!
We are finally off for the season, everything seems to be right on time with about 2 weeks late. Deliveries are starting on Monday and we cannot wait to start plucking somethings out of the garden here on the farm, it is so rewarding to harvest. Here are a few pics of the progress that we are making.
On the Left you will see the pea pod plants, there are a few on there but not enough for next week, hopefully the following week, the white flowers are a good sign though that the plants are healther. On the right is the skinny little green beans that have already started, they should be ready in no time.
Here are the Onions and the Potatoes, they look fantastic and I haven't seen a single potato but now for 2 days, knock on wood that we have gotten rid of those for the season.
And a couple of tomatoes have started, it is a beautiful sight to see them on the vines already.
These are little bitty jalapeno's that have started, most of the plants have a few on them already.

Starting to Grow
Well, I think that we are finally under way here at the farm. The spring has not been our friend and I am giving this year the nickname of "The year of 2 gardens" because with all of the re-planting that we have had to do because of rain or heat it feels like we have planted 2 whole gardens. Here are a few pics of how the garden was 2 weeks ago and a picture of our pheasant mascot. Coming soon will be more recent pics. Thanks for checking us out!!!

Hurry Only A Couple Of Spots Left
We have had a great turn out this year for memberships and only have a couple left, they are a first come basis so if you are interested now is the time to join.
Spring may not have started outside yet but it has begun in the basement of my house already with dirt everywhere, plants growing and bright grow lights shining almost 20 hours a day. We have started a lot of our plants from seed here at the farm already and this week some of the tomatoes had to be transplanted into larger containers to provide enough room for their root. So don't fear even if spring never comes we will keep growing rain or shine! Here are a couple picks of your plants at work.
